BitterSweet, Inc. (doing business as Dreamaker) ("Company", "we", or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Data: Name, email address, and profile picture collected via social login (OAuth).
Service Data: Face photos (including facial biometric data), short-form videos, or URLs you upload to create Concepts or Generated Videos.
Usage Data: IP address, device characteristics, browser type, and interaction data automatically collected when you use our Services.
Payment Data: Payment identifiers processed by third parties (e.g., Stripe). We do not store raw credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To facilitate account creation, authentication, and service delivery.
To generate customized video content using AI models (including third-party APIs).
To process payments and provide customer support.
To monitor and prevent fraud, deepfake abuse, or terms violations.

3. International Data Transfers (Important)

Our services are operated across different regions:

Database & Authentication: User accounts and core database records are securely hosted in South Korea (via Supabase).
Media Storage & AI Processing: The photos and videos you upload for generation are transferred to and processed in the United States (via Google Cloud Platform, Fal.ai, and other AI service providers).
By using our Services, you expressly consent to the transfer of your media files to the United States for processing.

4. Processing of Face Photos (Facial Data)

Purpose: Your face photos are strictly used to generate the requested video in that specific session.
No Training: We DO NOT use your personal face photos to train or fine-tune AI machine learning models.
Deletion: You may delete your uploaded photos or generated videos at any time from your account, and they will be permanently destroyed.

5. Sharing with Third Parties

We share data with trusted vendors only to perform services on our behalf:

Cloud Storage: Google Cloud Platform (USA)
Database: Supabase (South Korea)
AI Generation: Fal.ai, Kling AI, etc. (USA)
Payments: Stripe (USA)

6. Your Rights and Data Retention

Depending on your location, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can delete your account and associated data directly within the app settings.

Upon account deletion, your personal data will generally be destroyed without delay. However, to prevent fraud, resolve service disputes, and comply with legal obligations, we securely retain minimal identifying information and transaction records for 30 days after deletion. Data retained during this period will not be used for any other purpose.
